The
Alpine Employment Resource Centre provides a wide range of employment
services, including job search assistance, career counselling and
free access for job seekers to postings of current job openings,
computers, phones, fax and photocopier. Funding for the Centre is
provided by the Government of Canada.
The
Centre has bright, open public space for job search activities,
a large reception area and two private offices, with a meeting room
for workshops.
The
Alpine Employment Resource Centre offers:

Free access to phones, computers, fax machines, and copiers.
- Job
search resources.

A daily updated job board.

Access to the internet for job search.

Telephone messaging.
-
Referral to HRSDC programs and services like Targeted Wage Subsidy,
Skills Development Employment Benefits, Self Employment Assistance
and Job Creation Projects.
Hours
of operation are 9:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Closed 12:00
- 1:00 for lunch.
