employment services, including job search assistance, career
counselling and free access for job seekers to postings of
current job openings, computers, phones, fax and photocopier.
The Port Alberni Centre has bright, open public space for
job search activities, private counsellor offices, with a
meeting room for workshops.
The West Coast Branch in Ucluelet provides
residents similar service in Tofino Monday and Friday and
in Ucluelet Tuesday to Thursday.
The Alberni Valley Employment Centre offers:

and copiers for job seekers.
• Job search resources.
• A daily updated job board.
• Access to the internet for job search.
• Telephone messaging.
• Referral to Service Canada programs and services
like Targeted Wage Subsidy, Skills Development Employment
Benefits, Self Employment Assistance and Job Creation Projects.
Port Alberni hours of operation are 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday
to Friday.
